As most of you all know, the original fuku for SailorMercury and the other Senshi are
not like what you see in the
manga and anime. The difference between the original fuku and the final fuku for SailorMercury is more than just the loss
of sleeves.

Shoulder Pads
In the original fuku, SailorMercury has some sort of shoulder protectors where it is absent in the final fuku for
SailorMercury. Well the shoulder pads appear on manga SailorMercury in her other incarnations, but not in her
first fuku.
Mercury Symbol
Can you see the Mercury’s symbol pinned on the ribbons of the original SailorMercury? The ribbons on her wrists were
removed and so are the symbols and for that I am glad because I find it silly to have too many symbols and ribbons
on the fuku.
Shoes
In the original fuku, SailorMercury wore nice low-heeled shoes, which I have no idea what it is called since I am not
concerned with shoes. Anyway in the final fuku SailorMercury wore boots instead but for me either shoes would look nice
on her.
The Dress
SailorMercury’s original fuku was more to a dress with a non-plaited skirt unlike the more suit-like dress that is in
her final fuku design. The original fuku has long sleeves, but they were replaced by gloves in the final fuku.
Goggle and Mini Microphone
In both the original and final fuku, the goggle and mini microphone are maintained though in the original fuku the
goggle is more like a mask than a goggle.
